This is a continuation of my last blog. I mentioned some of the different types of magazines in that blog but today I will be giving a more in depth look into the different types.

Time Magazine - 21/06/2021 Subscriptions | Pocketmags

The two types of magazines that are sold are general interest magazines and special interest magazines.

General Interest magazines have no specific topic they're dedicated to and they provide information for the general audience on the world and anything happening. Examples of this are Time Magazine, Outlook and The Week.

Special Interest Magazines are those that cover specific topics that people are interested in. Some of these topics can be but are not limited to...

  • Sports
  • Fashion
  • Health
  • Photography
  • Business
  • Children
  • Women
  • Educational
  • Science
  • Travel
Time Magazine is the one seen on the left with President Joe Biden. Time Magazine is a General Magazine for all audiences.

It was founded in 1923 has been one of the most authoritative and informative guides to what is happening in current affairs, politics, business, health, science and entertainment. Every week over 20 million subscribers worldwide turn to Time for award winning exclusive coverage.
